What happened
On 24 July 2026 the Home Office updated its Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 factsheets on GOV.UK. The factsheets give a short overview of who is in scope, the standard and enhanced tiers, and the role of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) as regulator.
They are a good document to share with owners, trustees and managers who need the headline picture before reading the full statutory guidance.
